Stramondo is a solid family business capable of competing successfully in international markets. Since 1940, it has been a benchmark for Sicilian craftsmanship in the production of ingredients and semi-finished products for the ice cream and pastry world.
Today, Vito, Silvia, and Sergio work alongside their father Vincenzo, guiding the company toward increasingly global growth and consolidating its reputation worldwide. The company's history is a series of key milestones, each of which has contributed to defining its identity:
1940
Founded in Catania by master pastry chef Pasquale Stramondo, who passed on his passion for quality and artisan expertise.
1976
Vincenzo Lo Castro joins the company, bringing new energy, vision, and expertise.
1986
Acquisition and transfer of the factory to Salemi (TP), in the heart of an area rich in agricultural raw materials, strategic for product quality.
2010
Opening of the new production and administrative headquarters: a modern 12,000 m² industrial complex designed to support large-scale growth.
2023
Completion of the plant's 100% green transformation, powered exclusively by self-produced energy from renewable sources, marking a sustainable turning point of which the company is proud.
